Brian Kennedy (Iowa politician) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Brian Kennedy (Iowa politician) Brian Kennedy (born 1964) is an American lawyer and former state Republican Party chairman of Iowa.〔(Republican National Committee: Iowa 2012 caucuses go first )〕 He served as a member of the Republican National Committee, co-chairman of the Republican National Convention Platform Committee and past Executive Director of the Republican Governors Association in Washington, D.C. Kennedy graduated from Iowa State University and Drake University Law School. In 2003, he founded Campaign of One, which sponsored hundreds of Internet-based campaign projects on behalf of Republican candidates from the White House to the courthouse.〔(Kennedy profile at the Iowa Prosperity Project webpage )〕 In 2006, Kennedy lost the primary for Iowa's first Congressional District Seat in 2006, the seat being vacated by eight term Republican Congressman Jim Nussle who is running for governor. He was defeated by businessman Mike Whalen.
